Dog Walker for Ne/nw Communities

We are looking for an experienced and passionate dog walker for an existing dog walking route in NW/NE communities of Calgary, this is daily dog walking Monday-Friday with walks occurring between 9AM - 4PM, occasional evening and weekends needed.

Must have prior experience and a good understanding of leash handling and common behaviours, hands on training will be provided with each existing client.

**You must have your own reliable vehicle as this is a busy route that requires you to drive between client homes to fit them all within their arrival windows.**No transportation of dogs required.

**Responsibilities**
- Take dogs on 30-45 minute private one-on-one, or multiple dogs from the same household
- Pick-up after the dogs and dispose in appropriate receptacles
- Use only force-free handling and positive reinforcement protocols to assist dogs with behaviours during walks, ie barking at other dogs, leash pulling, etc.
- Communicate effectively and complete written report cards after every walk
- Provide exceptional customer service by being punctual, professional, and caring in all interactions with clients and their pets

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 15 per week
