If so, we want you to join our talented group of nursing staff as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)

**As a Personal Support Worker you will**:
Assist residents with the personal care tasks of daily living, including skin care, hair care, mouth care, bathing, bowel and bladder care, positioning and movement, feeding (including special diets).
Assists with ambulating and mobilization of residents.
Performs other related tasks as indicated in the resident’s individualized written plan of care.
Answers call bells promptly, and responds to residents needs and requests.
Records on each residents check list daily.

Ensures and promotes the provision of resident-focused care to meet the needs of residents.

Provides cognitive, social, and emotional support including oral and dental care.

PSW Program Certificate or Diploma that meets the appropriate standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities, the National Association of Career Colleges, or the Ontario Community Support Association;
Has passion and heart for providing quality care;
Knowledge and experience in care planning systems and documentation required;
Ability to communicate positively with other staff, residents, and families;
Qualifications:
Certification as a personal support worker.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English (written and spoken);
Must possesses current First Aid certificate or willing to acquire;
Must provide proof of TB screening, vulnerable sector police check and Covid-19 Vaccination (3 dose).

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- On call

Supplemental pay types:
