Guest Attendant

Job description

1.Recognizes safety hazards and takes appropriate action. Adheres to established residence policies and procedures including safety rules and safe working practices.

2. Assists the DOC to evaluate the performance of the Attendants supervised by him/her and assists with appropriate documentation. Keeps the DOC informed of any changes with residents care needs.

3. Monitors residents level of wellness and responds to medical emergencies.

4. Assist with serving meals in the dinning room.

5. Preforms a wide variety of tasks that may include: gneral housekeeping, laundry, general assistance with care and daily living activies to residents.

**Physical Requirements**

1. Lifting alone, maximum 20 lbs.

2. Pushing/pulling, using wheeled equipment such as carts, trolleys wheel chairs. (20-50 lbs. Usual) as a minor activity;
3. Standing, for lengths of time during the shift

4. Carries and transports objects of various sizes, to a maximum of 15 lbs.

5. Must have visual and hearing acuity to recognize the need of assistance required by residents

**Salary**: From $15.50

**Hiring for weekends only and biweekly weekends**
