**The primary function of the position**:
Cleans public spaces and maintains the security of the building.

**Basic duties**:

- Completes nightly task list set by Housekeeping department and Management
- Cleaning public washrooms and fitness facilities, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, removing garbage
- Ensures the safety and security of the building
- Assisting with guest services for late check-ins
- Prepared to deal with emergency situations (calling police or fire) if they occur
- Perform other duties as required (Hours 11pm to 7:00am)

**Experience/requirements**:

- Previous security/housekeeping work experience preferred
- Flexibility and availability to handle emergency situations
- Attention to detail
- Physically capable for labor work
- Ability to work independently and show initiative

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Victoria, BC V8W 1Z6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
- housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
- Security: 1 year (preferred)
