**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and schedule the movement of goods and materials in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Utilize supply chain management systems to track shipments and update information.
- Answer incoming calls and provide assistance to drivers and customers regarding delivery status or any issues that may arise.
- Perform data entry tasks to update shipment details and maintain accurate records.
- Analyze transportation data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to optimize freight movement.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes.
- Proficient typing skills for accurate data entry.
- Knowledge of AS400 or other transportation management systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills to assess transportation data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with drivers, warehouse personnel, and customers.
- Understanding of freight operations and logistics processes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
