We operate two (2) adjoining hotel properties in Richmond Hill, the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel & Suites and the Best Western Parkway Hotel. We are conveniently located on the north east corner of Highway 7 and Leslie Street, just west of Highway 404. We are readily accessible by HIghways 7, 404 and 407, and Leslie Street. We offer complimentary parking. We are also readily accessible by public transit (YRT/ViVA).

We are currently recruiting for team players to join our Housekeeping team as Laundry Attendants. We operate an in-house laundry operation for our hotels, banquet/conference centre and health club.

The duties of Laundry Attendant include, but not limited to the following;
1. Ensure that room linen and catering linen is laundered as per procedure

2. Stocking linen rooms

3. Cleaning and maintaining laundry machines

4. Participates in linen inventory process

5. In emergencies, clean guest rooms as per ABC’s of Housekeeping

6. Must obtain 95% cleaning scores in laundry rooms

7. Other duties as may be assigned by Housekeeping Supervisors, Houskeeping Manager, or General Manager

Physical Demands: Excessive standing, walking, bending, lifting

Job Requirements:

- Must be available to work weekends and holidays, and flexible with shifts between 7am - 6pm
- Must have the ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially
- Must have the ability to read and write English
- Must be self-motivated and detail oriented
- Previous experience in a hotel environment an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 - 40 per week
