**Job Summary**
Atlas Security & Investigation is currently hiring a **Loss Prevention Investigator (Undercover Security Guard)** to join our retail security team. The Loss Prevention Investigator will work in plain clothes to detect, observe, and report incidents of theft, fraud, and policy violations within a retail setting. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent situational awareness, and the ability to remain calm and professional in all circumstances.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct undercover surveillance to identify internal and external theft.
- Observe and monitor customer and staff activity to detect suspicious behavior.
- Gather and document evidence through written reports and video when required.
- Work closely with store management and law enforcement when apprehensions or investigations are necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all company and legal procedures for loss prevention.
- Prepare detailed incident and investigation reports for management review.
- Support overall store safety and asset protection efforts.
- Reliable, discreet, and able to work independently.
- Strong communication, observation, and report-writing skills.
- Previous experience in loss prevention, undercover security, or retail investigation is an asset.
Pay: $17.20-$22.09 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Licence/Certification:
- Security Guard Licence (preferred)
Work Location: In person
