**Overview**:Our Production Operator is a key team member who helps manufacture our quality inks and pigment products. As a Production Operator, you will become an expert in multiple areas within the production team, ranging from receiving and processing raw materials, to the operation of various equipment to assist with the manufacturing process, to the quality control of our products, to the customer shipments.
**Essential Job Functions**:
- Follow a recipe to accurately load powders, resins, solvents, and other materials into mixers
- Operate mixers and mills used to manufacture printing ink following detailed SOPs
- Effective written and oral communication skills, and basic computer knowledge
- Lifting, loading, and stacking of pails up to 20 kgs onto pallets
- Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety regulations
- General knowledge of WHMIS
- Adhering to all policies and procedures, including ISO and GMP
- Forklift license is an asset
- Other duties as required
**Required Education and Experience**:
- Able to safely and repeatedly pull and carry heavy items
- Must be able to work quickly consistently throughout the shift
- Must be energetic, self-motivated, and have the ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Must demonstrate a proven record of consistent on-time attendance
- Previous manufacturing experience in a similar environment is an asset
- A high school diploma is preferred
