Retail/commercial Construction Supervisors

Option Construction Corp. is a family-owned General Contractor/Petroleum Contractor based out of Spruce Grove, AB, specializing in the Downstream Oil and Gas and Commercial Industry. We provide new construction, redevelopment, facility maintenance services and installations throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario.

We seek **Retail/Commercial Construction Supervisors** to join our growing Petroleum Construction team. Tasks will be directly related to rebuilding and constructing structures for renovations.

**Job Overview**:
The Site Supervisor manages the construction site-related tasks of the business through a variety of coordination, scheduling, hands-on labour & customer service tasks, including but not limited to:

- Review and understand construction plans and associated drawings.
- Operate a safe, secure, clean worksite and keep all OH&S guidelines and legislation.
- Resolving on-site issues with trade partners & team members as they arise
- Maintain high-quality work and efficient building processes.
- A thorough review of jobs through quality control checklists at multiple stages of production
- Commercial construction to specifications, as-per plans & any changes requested.
- Consistently collaborates with field management, construction/project manager and project team.
- Advises field or project management of potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties.
- Performing repairs on-site as they arise, both pre & post-possession
- Plan and execute projects from start to finish, on time and on budget.
- Ensure sites are clean and ready for Inspections.
- Maintain & update project schedules daily.
- Coordination & completion of any seasonal deficiency items

**Qualifications**:

- Effective time management skills and top-notch analytical skills.
- 3 years of experience in a lead hand/supervisor role is preferred.
- All knowledge and skill should be consistent with the level of training and years of experience.
- Must be willing to work out of town.
- Ability to prioritize to meet multiple deadlines.
- Successfully supervised a construction workforce.
- Skilled in the operation of materials handling vehicles and associated equipment.
- Technical knowledge of the retail Construction Industry
- Comfortable communicating with customers & tradespeople
- Works well in a team or independently
- Team attitude and willingness to take on jobs.
- Experience with Procore is an asset.
- Interior and exterior work environments.
- Reliable vehicle, clean drivers abstract
