**The Role**

International Student Recruitment & Admission Officer effectively promotes Birmingham International Collegiate of Canada's academic programs and services to prospective international students.

BICC is looking for an International Student Recruitment & Admission Officer responsible for developing a strong enrolment pipeline domestically and internationally by developing and implementing an integrated, comprehensive recruitment strategy comprised of communications, business development, marketing. The Officer will work closely with the international agents to manage all recruitment activities, enrollment, and admission processes. The Officer will be responsible for executing strategic activities and projects associated with domestic & international recruitment, admissions, and registration of students to BICC. The Officer implements strategic initiatives to recruit international students aggressively and meet enrolment targets while incorporating students' positive and engaging experiences. Lastly, the Officer identifies and assists in developing new revenue opportunities that contribute to continued financial growth on behalf of BICC in supporting its academic vision and high-quality customer services to international students within Toronto and abroad.

**Responsibilities**
- Creates, updates and safe-keeps the international student files;
- Advises and assists students in external policies and procedures in regard to essential issues related to international students, including Citizenship and Immigration Canada (Study Permits, Temporary Resident Visas, Work Permits), private and public medical insurance plans;
- Coordinates and/or provides various types of orientation programs for international students on a regular basis, including social, cultural, safety-related, academic and college and university system-related information;
- Monitors progress of international students and provides ongoing support, referring students for professional assistance, when appropriate;
- Prepares and updates documents such as orientation information booklets, manuals and other publications for international students;
- Recruits international students under the supervision of the Manager and Director
- Makes recommendations to the Manager and Director in implementing contracts with student recruitment agents;
- Makes recommendations to the Manager and Director in developing and implementing a student recruitment strategy for a specific market or markets;
- Represents Birmingham International Collegiate of Canada, in Canada or abroad, at study education fairs or foreign institutions, including making presentations to international students and international education agents
- Makes recommendations to the Manager of BICC in implementing institutional linkage programs;
- Coordinates administrative functions of the enrolment of international students into BICC's programs, including communicating with representatives of foreign institutions and international education agents;
- Carries out other related duties as assigned by the Manager and Director.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $37,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
