**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Process payrolls for Canada and US locations as assigned
- Liaise with Plant Managers and Time Entry staffs
- Back-up support for other team members
- Remit and report pension payments, workers compensation premiums, and union dues
- Reconcile payroll register at year-end for tax forms issuance
- Assist in year-end processes
- Support audit requests
- Communicate with ADP Client Services to resolve issues
- Liaise with finance department for funding and journal entry requirements
- Respond to employee inquiries and requests
- Respond to unemployment claims, verifications, and statistical reporting
- Participate in other team projects assigned by the manager

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience with complex payroll systems in multiple jurisdictions, must have experiences with Quebec payroll
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills
- Superior customer service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now, ADP e-time, and JD Edwards an asset
- Basic understanding of payroll accounting
- Proficient with MS Office software
- CPA certification an asset
- Union payroll experience an asset
