**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of Biryani dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards for taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring proper handling, preparation, and storage of all food items.
- Assist in Indian meal preparation and planning, contributing ideas for new menu items or specials.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service times.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety procedures, and kitchen protocols.

**Skills**
- Proven experience as an Indian Cook in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Familiarity with various Indian cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively work within a team setting.
- A passion for the food industry with a willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
