Automotive Painter/prepper

We are in Autobody repair business for more than 10 years. We pride in providing top notch service to our customers, for that we need a Painter/Prepper to join our team. The wages will be negotiable depending upon experience and we guarantee lots of hours.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Cleaning, masking, and sanding of vehicles
- Ability and willingness to follow standard production processes.
- Repairing general damage, including cracks and dents on vehicles.
- Performs quality repairs without passing on defects.
- Approaches repair planning with a sense of urgency and detail to avoid waste and rework later.
- Assists painter(s) and body man in daily tasks.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Technical training in automotive servicing, refinishing, or collision repair is an asset
- Attention to detail with good prep skills.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to listen to direction, be hands on, positive, and take charge on job duties
- Knowledge of taking things apart and putting together or previous assembly experience is helpful
- Problem solving, decision making, job task planning skills are a must

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Autobody Refinish Technician 5+ years’ experience
- Autobody Prepper 3+ years’ experience
- Apprentice Technician or Journeyman
- MUST have Prepper/Painter Experience
- Prefer to have I-CAR training
- MUST have a valid drivers' license
- Prefer to have, 3 years Auto Body Prepping/Painter Experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
