Rodd Crowbush Golf and Beach Resort is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Resort.

**Summary of Position**: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the Maintenance Department operations, ensuring company standards are adhered to. Duties are inclusive of preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance.

**Immediate Supervisor**: General Manager

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Manage the Maintenance Department in a proactive manner.
- Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times, setting an example for staff.
- Perform preventative maintenance and necessary repairs on all hotel equipment, including boiler, HVAC, electrical and guest rooms (major plumbing, grouting etc). Maintain log.
- Maintain a current inventormy of supplies
- Maintain a current inventory of supplies
- Insure all quotes for work or equipment are obtained per the Purchasing Policy and that purchase orders are given to General Manager for approval before being implemented.
- Review and coordinate maintenance schedule with the General Manager and team.
- Communicate changes in guest room status with Front Desk and housekeeping.
- Major drywall repair, wall paper, carpet, painting repair, carpentry etc. as needed
- Complete general cleaning duties, grounds work etc during absence of Maintenance Person such as picking up garbage, cigarette butts etc. Taking out garbage as required.
- Take care of pool to ensure it is clean, safe, well maintained and to Health Department specifications.
- Work with the maintenance department to ensure snow & ice removal is completed for guest & employee safety.
- Clean and maintain all equipment and work areas
- Respond to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner.
- Comply with all Health and Safety standards and legislation
- All other duties as required

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Experience with hotel and facility maintenance experience preferred.
- Good t rouble shooting skills
- Ability to teach and supervise a small crew.
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner.
- Ability to effectively function as a team player.
- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, carpentry and steam system repair and maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of heating, air conditioning and ventilation repair and maintenance procedures.
- Pool maintenance experience and pool operators certificate
- Skill in operating a variety of hand and power tools.
- Some on call night duties.
- Must have valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.


**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour
