Test and Integration Technician_ L3HARRIS ELECTRO OPTICAL (EO) Sector About L3HARRIS EO - As a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies and within the Integrated Mission Systems Segment, Electro Optical designs and manufactures advanced electro-optical and infrared ("EO/IR") sensors and surveillance and targeting systems and provides modernization and life extension maintenance upgrade and support services across all domains; Space communication and launch vehicle avionics; and military Global Positioning System ("GPS") user equipment and fuzing and ordnance systems. Significant customers including U.S. Army, the United States Air Force, United States Navy, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Canadian Department of National Defense, commercial space companies and more than 80 foreign militaries. For example, our WESCAM system provides the MX and CMX family of turreted EO/IR solutions to airborne, maritime, and ground domains for both commercial and military users around the globe._ Primary Responsibilities - Ensure a fully assembled system - Integration, software tuning and testing of complex electromechanical devices - Troubleshoot, rework, repairs down to the component level - Ability to work to company deadlines to meet customer delivery dates - Act as liaison with other departments - Ensure proper documentation - Generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR's) - Evaluate system to validate customer complaints and generate repair plan - Work in teams to continuously improve operations and processes Required Capabilities - Strong Electronics and Mechanical background - Familiar with troubleshooting techniques (root cause) and the ability to read technical drawings and schematics - Experience with using various test equipment - Strong professional customer relations skills - Previous experience working within a Microsoft Office environment including knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Desired Education and Experiences - 1 - 4 years’ experience in the Electronics and Mechanical field desired - Community College diploma in Electronics/Mechanical Technology or equivalent - Experience with Lean Manufacturing an asset - Previous experience working in ISO9000, AS9100 environment About L3Harris Technologies - L3Harris Technologies is an agile global aerospace and defense technology innovator, delivering end-to-end solutions that meet customers’ mission-critical needs.
