We are seeking experienced Stagehands located in Toronto for on-call installation / strike calls. We are hiring Stagehands, Riggers, Lift Ops, Painters, Carpenters, General Labours. **What we do**: Crew and Logistics - serves primarily the in marketing, public art installations, film/ television sets, window dressing for high end retailers, pop-up shops, fashion events, corporate events and live stage productions. These projects include interactive displays, games and mechanically operated parts which require a skilled team of designers to create, test and prove sustainability and longevity in the market place. We are currently seeking motivated and hardworking team players for our onsite crew. Stagehands are our onsite crew for installing and dismantling projects based on given deadlines. Stagehand hands are booked based on availability provided all details of job type, location, as well as what tools or gear will be needed. - **"If you do not have the exact qualifications we specify below, but believe that you have strengths to add to our team, feel free to send in a resume specifying what contribution you think you can make."**_ **Stagehand Job Responsibilities Depending on Project Needs**: - Install and dismantle stages, set pieces, temporary structures and displays for live events, corporate events, film and television. - Assist carpenters on site and in shop. - Basic painting - Load and unload trucks **This Position Requires**: - A Motivated person with a positive attitude - Very good communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced and goal-oriented environment and adapt quickly to new procedures. - Available to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. - Must be in a good physical condition - Willing to work in various weather conditions - Respond well to and follow the direction - Enjoy working with others in a team setting - Must own/have all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) needed at all times, including steel toes, hard hat and vest - Ability to travel is an asset (Most job are within the GTA) - Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of general Labor experience - Must be able to lift at least 50lbs - Drivers license is an asset - Forklift or other machine licenses are an asset **Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Freelance **Salary**: From $20.00 per hour Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Evening shift - Monday to Friday - On call - Weekend availability Work Location: On the road
