**THE CHALLENGE** Take the lead on the shop floor where precision, pressure, and performance intersect. You’ll be the critical link between project plans and execution—translating drawings into action as you guide a skilled team to success. **ABOUT THE X-GROUP OF COMPANIES** "We generate and deliver kilowatts using advanced technology, to give back with endless energy". Most power system providers limit support to their own brands. We founded X-Group with the core objective to change this practice in the industry. In 2020, we assembled a team of seasoned experts, proficient in a diverse array of power equipment. From that point onward we’ve made it our mission to deliver the X-FACTOR experience with cross-platform energy solutions that reduce cost and carbon footprint. We believe companies should never put product sales ahead of their customers' success. Guided by this principle, our vendor-neutral approach considers all possibilities of OEM hardware, optimizing for our clients’ needs, budget and future. - We listen and help you solve for X._ We help our clients benefit from new technologies for intelligent ESG (environmental, social, and governance) performance growth, with lifecycle support that moves them from feeling cornered to confident. We walk through every project phase, from concept to completion for all rotating equipment, guiding with the capability and synergy of our robust group of companies. We are the world's leading provider of cross-platform solutions for evolving power systems. **The future of power is bright.** **WHAT WE'LL OFFER YOU** - A team that actually works as a team—no egos, just good people getting things done. - A growing company with big energy (literally—we build power generation systems). - Competitive pay, full benefits, and the chance to be part of something we’re building together. - Freedom to lead, make improvements, and put your stamp on how we operate. - Leadership that listens, supports, and backs you up. **OUR CORE VALUES** **BE GREAT** Strive for excellence with accountability in everything we do **BE KIND** In every human interaction, leave the experience better than you found it. **STAND OUT** Be different. Live different. Do different. **HAVE FUN** Make every moment count. **GIVE BACK** We're building a better future for generations to come. **TOGETHER, WE WIN** Life is better for everyone when we work together. **WHAT YOU'LL DO** - Lead our manufacturing and fabrication team on the shop floor, ensuring jobs are done safely, correctly, and on time. - Break down project drawings (mechanical, electrical, P&IDs, etc.) and help the team understand what needs to be done. - Work with the Director of Projects to build and update project schedules using tools like Gantt charts and Kanban boards. - Track progress, flag issues, and keep communication flowing between production, quality control, and project leads. - Support the team—answer questions, remove roadblocks, and coach junior staff and apprentices. - Keep things running smoothly by coordinating with Procurement and making sure materials are where they need to be. - Lead daily or weekly shop meetings to align the crew and keep everyone in the loop. - Help build a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. **WHAT YOU'LL BRING** - 5+ years of experience in a supervisory or lead role, with the ability to manage and motivate a multidisciplinary team. - Hands-on manufacturing or fabrication experience in a mechanical or industrial environment. - A diploma in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Technology (or something similar). - Strong experience interpreting and working from technical drawings (mechanical, electrical, P&IDs). - Clear, confident communication—you know how to speak both “technical” and “plain language.” - A steady hand under pressure, with the ability to solve problems on the fly. - Familiarity with production tracking and scheduling tools like Gantt charts or Kanban boards. **WHAT MAKES YOU, YOU?** - You earn trust by doing what you say you’ll do. - You like making sense of the chaos and helping others succeed. - You care about the quality of your work—and it shows. - You don’t wait to be told what to do. - You think "How can we make this better?" at least once a day. **PHYSICAL & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS** - This is a hands-on role in a working shop environment. You’ll be on your feet, moving between builds, and working with tradespeople throughout the day. - PPE is required—steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. - You must be able to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs, climb stairs or ladders, and safely navigate a busy industrial floor. - A strong understanding of and commitment to workplace safety is essential. **HOW TO APPLY** If you’ve got a knack for leading teams, turning plans into action, and keeping production moving like a well-oiled machine— **We want to get to know you** - X-Group is an equal opportunity employer.
