On behalf of our client, we are looking for an IT Security Design Specialist to support the design, build, and support of a new solution.

This role requires on-site attendance in Government of Canada facilities in the National Capital Region.

**Tasks and Activities**:
The scope of work will include:

- Analysis of completed designs and implementation tasks.
- Building, configuring, and completing associated build documentation and operational procedures.
- Analyze IT Security statistics, tools and techniques and conduct data security designation/classification studies.
- Analyze security data and provide advisories and reports.

**Skills and Experience**:
The following skills and experience are mandatory:

- **Must** have a 3-year college diploma or a university degree in a relevant field, or sufficient experience in the field.
- **Must** hold a Government of Canada security clearance (level Secret)
- **Must** have a minimum of ten years’ relevant experience in related positions.

The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:

- Experience with CSE security guidance (ITSG 22, 28, 31, 33, etc.)
- Experience authoring build documentation & operating procedures
