**Job Description**:
Do you enjoy working outdoors in a fast paced environment? Our Yard Team in Hamilton is currently recruiting for a DZ Yard Driver.

The operator will consult with the Yard Manager daily to determine priorities. They are responsible to maintain all necessary log books and operate equipment in a safe manner following all rules of the road.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate and drive the truck for shift operations as directed
- Performs daily inspection and maintenance and ensures that Truck is in safe, proper working order including fluid checks and proper lubrication
- Monitor vehicle performance, fluid levels, and mechanical fitness
- Follows all safety, compliance, and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards
- Maintain all necessary log books and operate equipment in a safe manner following all rules of the road
- Perform daily safety checks of equipment
- Operate on public or private roadways, maintaining proper awareness of ones’ surroundings
- Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections

**Qualifications**:

- 2-3 years of **DZ** Driving experience
- Must have a valid DZ driver’s license
- Must have a respectable CVOR and Abstract
- Able to work in all weather conditions
