**The Gerber Cutter Operator works directly for the Cutting Supervisor.**
**Duties and Responsibilities of the Gerber Cutter Operator are, but not limited to**:
**The Gerber Operator is responsible for using patterns and cutting out pieces of nylon and soft armor fabric to be used in production.**
**Responsible for spreading, marking, and cutting fabric material.**
**Organized and can prioritize cutting according to the needs of the production team.**
**Experienced in working with different raw materials: soft fabrics, and hard plastics.**
**Required to stand for 5-6 hours while operating the machine.**
**Safely and efficiently handle and move raw materials weighing up to 60lbs to designated areas**
**Strong attention to detail.**
**Present and maintain a professional behavior.**
**Perform other related duties as assigned.**
**Maintain clean and safe work environment and report any unsafe conditions.**
**Must be able to read and speak English.**
**Requirements**:

**Ability to take direction.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.25-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
