If you have experience and performing hair services and have a passion for styling hair, we want you to join our team as a Hairstylist at Barrie's first blow dry bar

SKILLS:

- Passion for hair & beauty
- **Experienced hair stylist with 3-5 years of cut and colouring services**:

- Proactive, collaborative team player with the ability to engage with guests
- Excellent customer service skills
- Hair extensions certification is considered an asset
- Positive, professional & goal orientated nature

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:

- Provide hair services to clients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Create an excellent experience for guests through a therapeutic touch and friendly attitude.
- Consult with clientele to create distinctive styles that are consistent with the clients’ personal style.
- You will always safeguard client information and confidentiality.
- Sell products customized to our clients goals by providing hair treatments and enhancements in order to hit sales goal.
- Attend salon and sales trainings when scheduled.
- Maintain a professional, clean appearance of self and follow required uniform guidelines.
- Keep your work space clean and tidy.
- Available for least one closing shift a week and every Saturday 9am-3pm.
- May be required to travel for remote bookings - weddings and events.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Be confident in performing blow dry styles, braiding, up-do’s and more with knowledge and practice in all.
- Capable to perform a variety of up-do’s for special events.
- Be able to work Saturdays 9am-3pm.
- Sales experience and up-selling treatments

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
