Ottawa, Canada Bona Building & Management Full time

Bona Building and Management Co Ltd is looking for a full-time Commercial building operator. The Building Operator will assist in maintaining the building, performing work orders, and ensuring the property is safe for staff, tenants, and visitors alike.

The building operator will work alongside the Maintenance Manager, and other maintenance crew members to ensure work is completed on time, to high standards and that all safety protocols are followed.

**Tasks will include**:

- Assisting in the completion of tenant requested, repair and preventative work orders
- Completing daily task lists, work orders and meter reading forms.
- Snow removal in winter
- performing minor painting, plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs
- handling daily operations including water treatment testing, supervising HVAC systems, equipment logs, lighting, and building automation systems

**Requirements**:

- Ability to lift-up to 50lbs
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, and efficiently as an individual
- Must be able to get your security clearance if you don’t already have it
- Ability to work with mínimal direction and bring your technical expertise to a hard-working team.
- Ability to multi-task and be responsive to time critical tasks
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in a commercial real estate environment with experience in office, preferably government tenants.
- BES Certification.
- on call emergency response

Hours: 7:00AM to 4:00PM

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $57,000.00-$63,000.00 per year
