A career in treasury risk at National Bank means contributing to the transformation and having a direct impact on clients. As Associate Manager, you will be primarily responsible for implementing solutions and continuous improvements related to the QRM software. In addition to solid knowledge of banking activities, you will also demonstrate knowledge of risk management and regulatory requirements related to interest rate risk management / IRRBB (Interest rate risk in banking book).

Your role
- Participate in various projects related to structural interest rate risk and transfer pricing
- Implement solutions and continuous improvements related to the QRM software
- Actively participate in training team members on the use of QRM
- Develop innovative solutions to assist traders in the Treasury sector in their decision-making process
- Enrich the group's knowledge base by proposing new approaches and solutions for problems and projects

The Treasury Risk Management team - SIRR (Structural Interest Rate Risk) and FTP (Funds Transfer Pricing) is in charge of managing FTP within the Bank and managing structural interest rate risk.

Required skills
- Diploma in a quantitative discipline related to the sector of activity (finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, computer science) and 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of the QRM software
- Expertise in market finance, risk management, financial mathematics and/or accounting
- Knowledge of financial products and risk management
- Experience in programming and data manipulation (SQL, VBA, etc.)

Preferred skills
- Ability to deliver quality results while meeting tight deadlines
- Proactivity, attention to detail, rigour, independence, curiosity and aptitude for learning
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with partners across Canada and our supplier in the United States.
