Prepares cost estimates and proposals by analyzing technical information and requirements.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Identify labour, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Compute cost by analyzing labour, material, and time requirements.
- Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Present prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
- Gathering and preparation of proposal related documentation.
- Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Significant inter-department and external collaboration to fulfill technical requirements.
- Maintain cost database by entering and backing up data.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in estimating or technical proposal generation
- Post-secondary education in engineering, or related technical field.
- Proven experience in analyzing information, estimating, planning, reporting research results.
- Proven experience in change management.
- Proficient in project management software.
- Demonstrated experience in a competitive bid process, information coordination, RFI’s, etc.
- Attention to detail.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
