Ontario /Quebec Dispatch Planner:
Travelers Transportation Services is now hiring an experienced Truck Dispatcher for our Brampton Terminal. Travelers Transportation Services has been in business since 1985, providing quality service to customers in both Canada and the United States.

Position status: Full-Time

Day Shift, Monday to Friday, some weekend phone calls a possibility

Location: Brampton

*Duties & Responsibilities:*

Plan, manage and coordinate truck loads by priority, drivers for Toronto/Montreal corridor drivers.

Participate to minimize empty miles

Minimize down time between loads

Scheduling pickup and delivery appointments for drivers

Coordinate with shop for repairs of equipment.

Support a positive and friendly working environment.

Communicate and problem solve Customer issues with the Customer Service Department.

Participate in and support driver retention initiatives.

Work in conjunction with the Operations team to select the best loads to service customer needs, both in Canada and the US.

*Required Experience and Skills:*

Knowledge of Transportation Industry Regulations such as HOS, TDG, FMCSA, MTO, etc.

Minimum 2 years' experience dispatching equipment for Domestic runs required.

Excellent geographical knowledge of Quebec (mostly Montreal), and Ontario.

Experience with TMW dispatch system a VALUABLE asset

Bilingual French (written or spoken) an asset.

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required, Logistics Transportation Diploma an asset.

Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills required.

Strong computer skills using Outlook, Excel, Word, etc., TMW Dispatching Software and/or Satellite communication systems knowledge an asset.

Able to work in a high stress fast paced changing environment.

Strong Attention to Detail skills.

Self-motivated skills.

**Salary**: From $55,000.00 per year
