**Job Summary**: Duties include: rail car repair, brake testing, general repair, welding. But may change 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The schedule is normally fixed. The salary for this position is between $39.61 and $44.48 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.**

**Requirements**

  • English written and spoken
  • Experience in 4-position welding SMAW and FCAW Knowledge of rail cars and aptitude for industrial mechanics.
  • Comfortable working at heights, in tight spaces and in a noisy and dusty environment.
  • Good physical condition since the work is demanding and outdoors at all times.
  • Class 3 driver's license and have a good sense of direction.
  • Can work in a team as well as alone. Manual, resourceful and easy to take initiative.
