Job Opening: Receptionist at Dorchester Physiotherapy

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated individual to join our team as Receptionist at Dorchester Physiotherapy. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. We are a therapist
- owned, outpatient clinic with emphasis on quality care and personal attention with all our patients. Dorchester Physiotherapy is a fun and stimulating environment and is a great opportunity to improve your skills and expand your expertise with room for professional growth within our well-established, reputable outpatient practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing information about services.
- Maintain patient records and update information in the system.
- Verify insurance and collect co-pays or payments as needed.
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient appointment scheduling.
- Assist physical therapists and office staff with administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, or a receptionist role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of office software (Microsoft Office, etc.).
- Familiarity with scheduling and medical software (Clinicmaster, WSIB, HCAI etc.) is a plus, but not required.
- Detail-oriented, dependable and able to work well in a team.
