What You’ll Do
As a Fire Alarm Security Technician, you’ll be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems and related security equipment. You’ll work on a variety of commercial and residential projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure fire alarm systems, panels, and devices
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty systems and components
- Ensure compliance with fire codes, regulations, and manufacturer specs
- Document work performed and maintain accurate service records
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members
What You Bring
- Certification in Fire Alarm Systems (CFAA or equivalent preferred)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in fire alarm or security systems
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
