Job Description:
Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a _Transportation Supervisor_ for our Trucking Centre in Salisbury, NB GTW can offer a permanent opportunity with full medical/dental benefits, a store discount, and career growth opportunities.

Accountabilities:

- Supervise the day-to-day transportation operations including scheduling, routing and dispatching personnel
- Plan and implement transportation goals and objectives
- Manage staff schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Develop and maintain routes for efficient delivery of goods within assigned region
- Ensure daily compliance with MOT regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
- Monitor driving logs and timesheets
- Handle customer service inquiries in a timely manner

Knowledge and Skills:

- 5+ years of experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations
- Excellent strategic/critical thinking
- Excellent communication/presentation skills (all levels of organization)
- Knowledge of industry regulations (Safety, HOS)

Universal accountabilities for employees are:

- Working with full commitment on work assigned by Manager
- Working effectively as required by level of role
- Giving Manager best advice
- Staying within Giant Tiger policies and values

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
