**Equipment Operator**
G. Baumeister is hiring an experienced equipment operator, for a full-time position.
**Responsibilities**:
- Operate equipment safely, and according to relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and work plans
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment
- Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required
- Ensure equipment is safely and securely stored
- Participate in routine fueling and maintenance
- Practice workplace safety
- May perform other related duties as required
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 5 years experience is preferred.
- GPS experience is an asset.
- Must have your valid H2S, First Aid and CSO and ground disturbance tickets.
- Require a valid driver’s license and a driver’s abstract
- Experience in a construction environment or in a similar role
- Familiar with construction terms and practices
- Effective verbal and listening communication skills
- Ability to understand and effectively execute verbal and written directions
- Be geared towards safety and excellence in your daily work.
