- This position will primarily work with our Returns Team
- Maintains inventory by identifying, sorting, labeling, counting, placing materials in stock and recording location of where inventory is stored.
- Maintains storage and distribution of product by pulling orders from warehouse to staging / shipping area; or re-stocking products on shelves.
- Operate powered, mobile / lifting equipment for order picking of bulk items. This position will primarily operate an Order Picker and Walkie Rider
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Expertise & Essential Skills
- Previous work experience in a similar role is a definitive asset.
- Must be in good physical condition (ability to stand, walk, sit, and handle parts)
- Must be capable of lift parts up to 50 pounds (23kg)
- Ability to work with rolling equipment (pallet jacks, trolleys, carts)
- Ability to work with Powered lifting devices such as a Reach truck, Walkie Rider and Stock Chasers. Experience with an Order Picker and Reach Truck is preferred but will provide practical training for a suitable applicant that has passed a CSA approve Forklift course. Must pass practical competency test on all equipment that will be operated.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Possess ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Computer literacy (mandatory)
- Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is an asset.
- Available on occasion to work outside regular business hours.
- Organized and self-disciplined.
- Task oriented.
- Diplomatic and tactful in communication
- Maintain spirit of cooperation with co-workers.
