Part-time Shunter

**Job Title**: Part-Time Truck Shunter
**Shift**: Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM to 11:00 AM
**Hourly Rate**: $21 to $23 per hour
**License Required**: Valid D/Z Driver’s License

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate and reposition trucks within the warehouse yard, including moving vehicles to and from loading areas and designated parking.
- Shunt trucks as required to ensure an efficient flow of operations.
- Assist in loading trucks using a fully powered pump cart; move and lift items as necessary.
- Perform light troubleshooting duties, including addressing flat tires, replacing light bulbs, and ensuring truck boxes have padlocks.
- Fuel up trucks as needed with diesel and DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid).
- Match and load invoices and driver paperwork into the correct trucks in accordance with the driver’s manifest.
- Maintain cleanliness inside truck cabs and assist in tidying warehouse floors and receiving bays as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and Raymond equipment (training will be provided).
- Fold invoices and assist with general paperwork organization as required.
- Work efficiently in physically demanding environments, including cooler areas set at approximately 2°C and freezers at approximately -18°C.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid D/Z driver’s license **required**.
- Previous experience using RF scanning equipment is an asset.
- Comfortable working in physically demanding environments and performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in cold and freezer environments.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety standards are essential.
- A clear **criminal background check** is required prior to employment.
