Job Summary:
Browns Socialhouse Waterloo is seeking dedicated Line Cooks/Prep Cooks to join our dynamic team. As an upscale dining restaurant known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, we are looking for individuals who are passionate about food and committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with Browns Socialhouse standards
- Assist in food preparation and assembly according to recipes
- Ensure the kitchen area is kept clean, sanitized, and organized at all times
- Adhere to food safety and handling procedures
- Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain high-quality standards
- Contribute to a positive work environment by communicating effectively with colleagues

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food service procedures and best practices
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Proficiency in meal preparation, including knife skills and ingredient handling
- Ability to work efficiently in a team setting
- Open availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for creating delicious dishes

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Restaurant: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
