Moving with our vision of becoming an industry leader, we are searching for a Process Control Technologist to innovate and grow our HeatMaster control systems.

Job description

It will be your responsibility to develop systems which control and monitor a biomass combustion process. This includes combustion analysis, heat transfer calculations, and overall system analysis. You will verify the reliability, stability, and the life cycle of new systems as well as troubleshoot existing control systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create wiring schematics, logic diagrams and control technical documentation.
- Write system specifications.
- Perform component life testing in a lab environment.
- Design of open/closed-control systems.
- Prototype & testing of new systems.
- Component selection and procurement.
- Optimize for production quality and control.
- Deployment and commissioning of systems.

Skills & Qualifications
- Degree/diploma in Instrumentation Controls/Mechanical design or equivalent experience strongly desired.
- Minimum 2 years field experience strongly desired.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage and prioritize responsibilities.
- Strong oral and written communication skill.
- Autodesk Inventor, Siemens LOGO Soft, C/C++, or NI LabVIEW programming experience is an asset.
- Experience related to combustion or chemical process control is an asset

Pay: From $54,432.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

**Experience**:

- process controls: 2 years (preferred)
- C++: 1 year (preferred)
