**About the Role**

Reporting to the Maintenance & Turnaround Manager, with dotted line accountability to Sr. Area Maintenance Supervisor this role holds accountability for managing the alignment of priorities and objectives between the different lines of business at LNG Canada and the execution organization.

Accountable to ensure adequate preparation for safe, effective, and efficient routine execution supporting reliable assets in accordance with Global Maintenance Execution (ME) standards.

This role provides strategic oversite for Maintenance activities including commissioning of projects and has direct impact to Production availability though effective execution of Maintenance. This role is also a member of the Maintenance leadership Team.

**You will use your expertise to**:

- Leadership and prioritization of work activities for Maintenance Team Leads focusing on strategic site alignment and clear understanding of business goals.
- Support in leading the maintenance execution team to execute maintenance work scope safely and efficiently across LNG Canada business.
- Drive Goal Zero performance culture across the business
- Integrate business unit Maintenance priorities across the site to drive the organization to deliver short
- and long-term performance.
- Coordinate with other business group Managers to ensure alignment across organization.
- Support in the development of detailed GPA’s and IDP’s for reports; provide coaching and direction to all reports to aid in achieving personal development targets.
- Ensure safe/effective work execution by interfacing with unit supervisors to reinforce safe working habits, Goal Zero behaviors and job site hazard identification.
- Ensure Maintenance Team Leads collaborate with Production Leaders to drive adherence to Area Maintenance budgets, efficient/effective execution, and asset risk reduction.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance leadership team, and LT-1 to minimize future costs to keep plant available.
- Manage unexpected production incidents and minimize downtime and Maintenance budget impacts.
- Accountable for Area Maintenance interfaces with other departments with the goal of managing PU incidents and activities.
- Accountable to ensure the right people are in place, possessing the right competencies at the right times to maintain assets.
