Our client is in search of a leader for their supply chain team, the Supply Chain Planning Manager is responsible for the development of inventory deployment plans to meet service level targets as well as inventory cost objectives by achieving optimized inventory levels through effective inventory management processes. This position will develop and maintain a strong partnership with senior commercial and operations teams and facilitate a collaborative approach to inventory management to satisfy customer requirements on time.

Key Requirements:
Team Leadership
- Provide Leadership, support, and supervision to Supply Chain Coordinators and Logistics Coordinators
- Complete annual performance reviews for the team
- Act as the voice of the Supply Chain Team in the New Product Development and launch process

Logistics Coordinator
- Supply Chain Planning & Logistics
- Develop short/long-term inventory plans to drive service improvements
- Identify and implement strategies to improve inventory turns and reduce costs
- Collaborate with Sales and Product Management to build forecasts to translate to purchase requirements
- Collaborate with Sales and Product Management on large order/commercial specification requirements to insure proper flow of product inbound
- Assist with the negotiation of Freight Rates to achieve the best costs and service
- Coordinate with Operations to effectively manage space and inbound delivery process
- Inventory Management
- Effectively solve short and long-inventory situations
- Manage production order process in collaboration with Supply Chain

Coordinators
- Develop, manage, and maintain purchasing/inventory management processes, criteria, and approvals
- Communicate with Product Managers and Factories to resolve Quality issues in a timely manner
- Supply Chain Reporting / Metrics Development
- Supply Chain Reporting / Metrics Development
- Execute Daily, monthly, and quarterly Supply Chain reporting and communication to internal teams
- Maintain Item Master Data in the system
- Assist in the development of, and annual update of the Vendor Agreements
- Assist in the development and communication of a Vendor Scorecard
- Maintain Inventory Fill Rate of 95% +
- Maintain Inventory Levels as per annual budgets by Category
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record of success
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of supply chain software and technologies
- Supply Chain Certification as an asset, or equivalent experience, SAP Experience
