Request for Proposal (RFP) Woodstock Business Improvement Area (BIA) Social Marketing Campaign Execution Introduction The Woodstock Business Improvement Area (BIA) is seeking proposals from qualified marketing agencies to design, implement, and manage a comprehensive social marketing campaign aimed at promoting local businesses, increasing foot traffic, and enhancing the overall economic vitality of downtown Woodstock. Background The Woodstock BIA represents a diverse group of businesses in the downtown core, spanning retail, dining, and professional services. The objective is to engage residents and visitors through targeted social media strategies, storytelling, and promotions that showcase Woodstock's unique identity and offerings.
Project Objectives The selected agency will be responsible for achieving the following goals:
- Increase public awareness of Woodstock BIA's member businesses
- Drive foot traffic to the downtown core
- Encourage engagement with local promotions, events, and activations
- Develop visually engaging content to showcase Woodstock as a vibrant business hub Scope of Work The selected agency will provide the following services:
1. Campaign Strategy and Planning: Develop a strategic plan outlining campaign goals, key messaging, target audience, and recommended platforms.
2. Content Creation: Develop engaging and high-quality content, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
3. Social Media Management: Manage BIA's social media accounts, schedule posts, and engage with the audience.
4. Advertising Campaigns: Create and execute paid campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram.
5. Analytics and Reporting: Provide monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations for campaign adjustments.
Deliverables
- Comprehensive campaign strategy document
- Calendar of scheduled content for a minimum of three months in advance
- Weekly social media posts (minimum 3 posts/week)
- Targeted paid advertising campaigns
- Monthly analytics reports with KPIs such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates Budget The Woodstock BIA has allocated a budget range of $8,000 - $12,000 for this campaign. Proposals should include a detailed breakdown of costs, including creative development, advertising spend, and project management fees.
Term of Contract To begin Monday June 2nd, 2025 - Ending Wednesday, Proposal Submission Requirements Proposals should include: Dec 31, 2025

- Proposed campaign strategy and timeline -Examples of previous work
- Detailed budget breakdown
- Contact information and key personnel involved
Evaluation Criteria Proposals will be evaluated based on the following:
- Creativity and innovation in campaign approach
- Proven experience with successful social marketing campaigns
- Alignment with Woodstock BIA's objectives
- Budget feasibility and cost-effectiveness
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing strategies
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms and SEO best practices
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, for graphic design
- Familiarity with social media tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer
- Experience with Facebook Advertising and Google Analytics
- Excellent proofreading and keyword research abilities
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 7 months
Pay: Up to $1,700.00 per month
