Fort Garry Industries has an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Driver to join our team at our Sudbury location.** *PLEASE SUBMIT A RECENT DRIVER'S ABSTRACT WITH YOUR RESUME AND COMPLETE THE PRESCREENING QUESTIONS WHEN APPLYING**

**What You Will Do**:

- Load materials into vehicle and install straps, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit
- Follow company delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency of delivery run
- Manually, load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms or lifting devices
- Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct as you promote good working relationships with all customers
- Other duties as assigned

**What We Require**:

- **MUST HAVE** valid class 5/G drivers’ license
- **MUST HAVE** driver’s abstract with no major infractions
- **MUST HAVE** three years of Canadian driving experience
- **MUST HAVE** demonstrated direct customer service experience while working in a similar role/position.
- **MUST BE ABLE** to lift 75 pounds of weight
- **MUST BE ABLE** to sit for long periods of time as delivery route can be up to 160 kilometers from branch location
- **MUST BE AVAILABLE** to work overtime when required
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills - dedicated to exceeding expectations of internal and external customers.
- Strong written and verbal skills - ability to write and speak succinctly with customers and colleagues.
- Heavy duty parts supply background and/or knowledge an asset
