We are currently seeking a Licensed Auto Body Technician to join our team. We are seeking an individual who is dependable, driven, efficient and strives to achieve above-average results. Requirements and responsibilities
- 3rd year Apprentice or Journeyman
- Valid drivers license
- Previous experience in automotive shop
- Be professional, punctual, efficient, and thorough. Responsible for repairing vehicles for refinishing in accordance with industry requirements, using hand tools, power tools, frame, welding and painting equipment. Work with the team by communicating with appropriate team members to make sure of the vehicle’s repair status and any additional work that need to be completed or reported as complete
- Work with and support other repair technicians and staff if needed

Job Description
- Prepare all vehicles and parts for painting, by using proper techniques, equipment and materials:

- Make small mirror pulls and work with frame technician to ensure frame and unibody vehicles are restored to proper dimensions
- Restore and/or maintain vehicle corrosion protection (undercoating)
- Hand-sprays parts to cover unpainted areas or applies rust preventative
- Repairs or replaces defective mechanical parts
- Remove and replace sheet metal, glass and cosmetic parts as necessary
- Straighten/repair damaged panels and parts as necessary
- Bench vehicles and conduct pulls on vehicles as necessary. Measure and document vehicle dimensions when required
- Removes, upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window and seat operating equipment, and trims to gain access to vehicle and fenders - Files, grinds and sands repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools. Aims headlights
