**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Installation of low-voltage wiring, wiring terminations, equipment racks and related components.
- Pre-wiring, installation, termination, labelling and testing of network components and related devices.
- Interaction with team members.
- Technical support and troubleshooting of installed components and systems.
- Documentation of project progress and completion of work orders, change requests and material lists.
- Regularly attend team meetings to discuss upcoming projects and review completed projects.
- Ensure work site cleanliness and safety compliance based on corporate and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with and assist our other departments as required.

**Qualifications**
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail and enthusiasm, as well as a strong pride of workmanship.
- Organized and goal oriented.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience installing, terminating and testing network cables required.
- Experience with fiber optic cabling and termination considered an asset.
- Must possess own vehicle, valid driver’s license with clean drivers abstract.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to read and understand floor plans and schematic drawings and diagrams.
- Basic understanding of networks, security and video surveillance.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to be client-facing, with appropriate appearance and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently or in a team-based environment.
- Strong knowledge of hand and power tools required.
- Experience in working at heights required. Related training and elevated platform certification provided.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 20 - 24 per week
