The adMare Academy has trained more than 500 alumni - 95% of whom are now working to build our life sciences industry. **Job Summary**: **Responsibilities**: - Work with several primary cell lines and establish key readouts of pathological disease. - Provide scientific leadership in the neurology/oncology technology projects. - Initiate and direct the design of key cellular assays that replicate human disease with differentiated cell lines. - Analyze and interpret data to develop new hypotheses. - Expand the group’s productivity by effectively establishing CRO relationships. - Monitor and evaluate completion of tasks and drive projects to decision points. - Proactively investigate new or different technologies to improve the efficiency of the cellular differentiation process. - Present data and programs to senior management and external stakeholders. **Experience and Qualifications**: - PhD in Biology/Biochemistry/Molecular Biology with significant hands-on experience in primary cell culture including iPSCs. - Proven publication record in the neuroscience or oncology field. - >2 yrs post doctoral work demonstrating independent project leadership - Technical proficiency, scientific creativity, independent thought, and ability to effectively collaborate with others with diverse expertise including chemistry, discovery biology, pharmacology, and translational sciences. - Ability and willingness to lead from the bench. - Capable and willing to provide guidance and leadership to colleagues and teams. Strong passion for growing the organization’s talent. - Excellent communication and presentation skills are required to effectively communicate to senior management.
