Sales Associate

Come work in a welcoming positive work environment. We are a family business looking for confident individuals to help customers find and learn about products. We sell Landscape supplies, gardening supplies, and farm supplies. Prior product knowledge not required but welcomed. On site learning available. Other jobs will include stocking shelves, pricing, processing sales, tidying & cleaning, and answering phones. Willingness to learn about new products and work well with a team required. Tuesdays - Saturdays Full Time.

**Duties**:

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise
- Collaborate with team members to achieve overall store objectives

**Skills**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating discounts or sales tax
- Strong selling skills to promote products and close sales
- Technical sales knowledge to effectively explain complex products or services
- Organizational skills to maintain a tidy sales floor and manage inventory
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive shopping experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
