**Maintenance Technician with Electrical Experience**

1 Position - Tuesday - Friday 6 am - 4:30 pm

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Manufacturing, Maintenance & Project Management, this person will be responsible for:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring the efficient operation of all plant equipment.
- Repairing and maintaining all types of production equipment and tooling.
- Supporting and driving the implementation of any improvement initiatives.
- Participate and support the implementation of any new equipment.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a preventative maintenance program for production equipment and buildings to ensure that planned preventive repairs are scheduled in accordance with production schedules.
- Overseeing and directing, as required, plant projects, including those involving outside contractors.
- Ensuring that the plant is in compliance with Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining the plant maintenance software.
- Carry out other tasks as assigned by the plant & manufacturing senior manager
- Must work strictly in compliance with all Health & Safety requirements.

**Qualifications**:
**5+ years’** experience in maintaining industrial equipment.
- A solid understanding of electrical principles, wiring, circuits, and electronic components.
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming, troubleshooting, and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, voltmeters, and thermal scanners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and documenting work.
- Meticulous attention to detail for tasks like documentation and following schematics.
- Understanding of safety procedures related to electrical work and automated systems
- Strong hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting, PLC and plant electrical.
- Knowledge of electrical and comfortable working with 575V and under
- Working knowledge of MS Office,
- Must be familiar with Lock-out/Tag-out procedures

**Supervisory Responsibility**:
None

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**:

- Ability to speak effectively to subcontractors or employees of the organization.
- Ability to solve practical problems and work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and also as a team
- Requires good judgment and a professional demeanour
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Familiar with plant operation and equipment
- Ability to work at heights
