Drum Instructor

Pro Music is Waterloo's largest music school and has been successfully teaching students of all ages the skills they need to enjoy playing music for a lifetime. We have now been operating for 30 years and are looking to expand our teaching staff.

Pro Music is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, creative individual to **teach drum lessons to children and adults**. You would be responsible for **lesson planning, theory, and recital preparation**. Your time with your students is scheduled in 30mins blocks with most teachers hours starting between 3:30 and 4:30 during the week. Saturday's are also available starting at 9 in the morning. We are currently looking for a variety of availability. If you are able to teach one or more days a week we invite you to apply.

Our students are very loyal and enjoy having the same teacher for the duration of their time with us. We are ideally looking for instructors that will remain in the KW area for the next 2-3 years. Majority of our teachers have been with us for over 4 years

Job Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Percussion Instructor is an asset
- Performance experience is an asset
- Diploma, Bachelor or Master in Music not required but considered an asset

**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
