As a key technology innovator in the global golf industry for many years, On-Pin has been providing essential tools which provide golf course management with the key insights to increase revenue, address slow play and improve various aspects of the golf operations. Utilizing RFID technology to passively track individual golfers as they move around the golf course, the patented Verifeye system is the latest solution being adopted by some of the top golf courses in Canada.

To assist with the growth and ensure our customers are getting timely support, On-Pin is currently looking for a motivated and reliable part time Field Service Technician in the Vancouver area. In this role you will utilize your technical experience and clear communication skills to work with golf course staff to resolve any equipment challenges or technical questions they may have primarily focused on the Verifeye solution.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and peripherals
- Responds to customer requests in a timely manner
- Provides periodic training to golf course staff focused on proper equipment maintenance and troubleshooting strategies

**Key Skills & Experience**
- Basic Knowledge of Android & Linux operating systems
- Basic knowledge of command line commands
- Basic Knowledge of Windows operating systems
- TCP/IP stack familiarity for Windows networks setup
- A technical, logical thought process
- Solution based approach
- A positive attitude and patience are important as you’ll be supporting key golf course staff who will want you to solve certain issues without their assistance
- A clear communicator (you have the ability to proficiently speak and write in English)
- You have the flexibility to respond to issues within 24-48 hours
- You have your own transportation in order to travel to golf courses as needed (You will be provided compensation to help cover costs incurred for travel)
- Travel is primarily to Vancouver, North Vancouver and West Vancouver
- Love of Golf ideal but not necessary. Potential to play a top 10 private course in Canada.

**Nice to haves**:

- 1 year experience in a relevant role, ideally in a corporate or professional services environment
- IT qualification (degree or certificate)

**Additional Info**:

- This is a part time, contract role where the hours will increase over time as more courses sign up
- You will be provided with training on the Verifeye solution, a laptop and tools

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 2-5 per week

**Salary**: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
