**Owner Operator Cube Van Driver**:Pickup/Delivery courier - dedicated route**

- Payment structure based on a Core Zone value, per stop charge, per piece charge and an extra quality incentive payment on a daily basis if service requirements are met.
- Paid: Minimum (3) days on route training; as well as Health & Safety orientation, TDG training, WHMIS training

**Position Summary**:

- Load and Unload truck, deliver and pickup to and from customers in the specified route boundaries.
- Drive in a professional and alert manner while following and observing all legal requirements for road transport and safe vehicle operation.
- Use hand held Scanning equipment professionally and accept responsibility for care and use of this device while driving at all times.
- Deliver and pick up customer parcels in a quick and efficient manner. Interact with customers in a professional customer service orientated manner.
- Handle customer COD payments as required accurately and securely.
- Handle all freight with accuracy and efficiency.
- Verify manifests and investigate discrepancies / errors
- Keep accurate and up to date records as required such as Vehicle Pre Trip inspections, Insurance and Registrations documentation, Commercial Vehicle inspections, Daily on Duty Hours Logs and monthly maintenance records.

**Qualifications**:

- You may rent or short term lease a vehicle to start (unless you already own the required vehicle) and once passed probation you must provide your own late model one ton cube van. Vehicle must be white in color.
- Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license. No Graduated Licenses accepted.
- Must provide a current (not older than 30 days) 5 Year Commercial Drivers Abstract.
- Must be neat and tidy in appearance and possess strong communication skills.
- Must be able to problem solve and provide great customer service to customers.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted and drive 1 ton cube van proficiently and professionally.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
