**Shipper / Receiver**

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Secondary school diploma and/or equivalent work experience
- Valid Forklift Driver’s License and minimum 5 years’ experience driving a forklift
- Computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Effective communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Decision making skills and ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Detail oriented and organized, with excellent follow-up skills.
- Self-starter who demonstrates responsibility and accountability.
- Operate powered mobile equipment
- Operate Overhead Cranes or other appropriate equipment for lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling, carrying, handling or transporting heavy or awkward loads.
- A friendly, outgoing personality and ability to work with individuals, groups and other organizations to carry out goals of the organization
- Perform all work in a safe manner, following work instructions and / or safe operating procedures
- It is an included and expected responsibility that Health & Safety of the employee as well as fellow employees be a part of everyday activities

**DUTIES**:
**Shipping**
- Assembling of customer orders, ensuring correct skid configurations, correct packaging, labels and skids are used.
- Prepare bill of ladings, invoices and other shipping documents as required.
- Verification of pieces being shipped.

**Receiving**
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and report suspect or damaged goods.
- Ensuring all pertinent information is placed on incoming product.
- Notified appropriate personnel of incoming product that requires Quality Inspection.
- Provide required paperwork for quality audit and maintenance records.
- Deliver/ move products to the production line or storage areas as required after Quality inspection has been completed
- Receive items and match to system P.O.’s

**Inventory**
- Track and organize all inventory
- Complete inventory cycle count daily and submit necessary reports.
- Assist with reconciliation of inventory.

**General**
- Keep paperwork neat and organized.
- Report all discrepancies immediately.
- Keeping the floor and yard organized and free of non-needed obstructions.
- Ensure all trailers are chocked and drivers sign/sign out as per company policy
- Ensure carriers are loaded/unloaded in a manner that prevents damage to the products and/or materials.
- Safe and effective operation of all equipment (Forklifts, Walkie, Handcarts...etc.)
- All other duties as assigned
