**About Us**: Our establishment offers a non-franchise, curated experience for guests seeking comfortable accommodations, excellent dining, and beautiful event facilities. Our property features meeting rooms, banquet halls, a restaurant, and room service, all designed to provide memorable experiences for our guests.

**Position: Assistant Manager, Restaurant and Events**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Costing**: Ensure that our food and beverage operations are cost-effective while maintaining high-quality standards.
- **Procurement**: Manage the sourcing and purchasing of ingredients and supplies, building relationships with reliable vendors.
- **Scheduling**: Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure smooth operation of all food and beverage services.
- **Food Safety Standards**: Uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene throughout our operations.
- **Managing a Team**: Lead and motivate a diverse team of kitchen staff, servers, and event coordinators.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with kitchen staff, servers, and event coordinators to deliver seamless service and delightful guest experiences.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high standards.
- Great communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brantford, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve (preferred)
