Kits Plumbing Ltd. is currently seeking a **Journeyman plumber **for residential service, maintenance, new Installations, and retrofits for plumbing and heating.

**Job description**

**Journeyman Plumber Job Responsibilities**:

- Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air to test for leaks
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools
- Install pipes and fixtures such as sinks and toilets using hand and power tools
- Cut openings in walls or floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
- Join pipes together using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering sealants or welding equipment
- Residential service and maintenance
- Excellent communication skills, customer service, bond-able
- Heating, Furnace, service and install, gas fitting experience
- HVAC experience not required but would be an asset.

**Duties**:

- To install, maintain and repair plumbing systems in a safe and efficient manner.
- To ensure that all plumbing installations comply with local building codes and regulations.
- To provide prompt and courteous service to customers.
- To keep up to-date with the latest advancements in the plumbing trade.
- To troubleshoot and repair plumbing problems in a timely and efficient manner.

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Salary/wage**: $40.00-$50.00 per hour, based on experience

**Expected hours**: 40 per week

**Work Location**: In person

**Language requirement**: Fluent English

**Schedule**:Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 4:30 pm

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Plumbing experience: 4 years (required)
- Red Seal/Journeyman Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good physical stamina and strength, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination
- Drivers License required
