Pharmacity Drugstore is currently looking for a Full-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. We are an independently owned community pharmacy working closely with our attached medical clinics as well as with patients requiring extra in-home intervention. We pride ourselves in fostering and maintaining close relationships with our patients, physicians, healthcare partners and surrounding community. Our success is ultimately dependent on team members who buy into our philosophy of providing the best possible care in each and every scenario.

**Responsibilities**:

- Understanding of College of Pharmacists bylaws and regulations
- Optimization of pharmacy workflow
- Identifying patients in need of improved medication adherence
- Initiative to move from one task to the next using logic and prioritization
- Independent task completion with meticulous attention to organization and detail
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets to track and monitor patient records
- Knowledge and efficiency with all aspects of WinRx (data entry, billing, report generating, troubleshooting)

Qualifications:

- Excellent written, verbal and oral communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Strong customer service focus
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical math
- Computer literate, possessing intermediate skills in Google Drive
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Flexible to situations and adaptable to change
- A thorough understanding of quality assurance and delivery of service excellence
- Excellent organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to shift priorities working within established timelines
- Demonstrates initiative (learn processes and procedures, various benefits) and displays self-motivation to grasp new concepts quickly
- Results-oriented paying attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Accuracy in Data Entry is mandatory

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
